Elizayo: Justice, Equality, and Sustainable Impact
Elizayo provides a comprehensive suite of services rooted in Restorative Justice and Therapeutic Jurisprudence (TJ), aiming for rehabilitation and a safer society by moving beyond mere punishment. We also champion Gender Equality by focusing interventions on both men and boys from a young age to dismantle stereotypical norms and create lasting improvement for women and girls. Finally, Elizayo supports Organisational Sustainability by developing customised processes and tools to build internal capacity, align people and strategies, and ensure successful mission achievement and sustainable growth, complementing this with a selection of free resources.
Elizayo believes in justice that goes beyond punishment as well as the reality that rehabilitation is crucial to achieving justice and ensuring a safe society. Programs are presented as prevention programs; pre-sentence or Diversion options, or as alternative Sentences. All include Forensic Assessments
Elizayo offers a large scope of services and programs to persons whose challenges bring them to the attention of criminal and family courts. We advocate for Therapeutic Jurisprudence (TJ) because the justice system [both criminal and civil] is uniquely positioned to do more than assign blame or penalties.
Stereotypical gender norms are often deeply ingrained from childhood. By changing attitudes among men and boys, lasting improvement for women and girls will be created. Elizayo is op the strong opinion that intervention should be focused on both genders and start at a young age- with a focus on prevention and early intervention.
Our approach assists organisations to build the internal capacity to successfully manage change, deeper impact, and complete mission achievement. We develop customized processes and tools to assist in aligning people, processes, and strategies for sustainable growth, and offer a large selection of free resources.
